When you get to 80″ or so, you start thinking front projection. The screen rolls down from the ceiling, and the projector sitting over 8 feet away warms up. It shoots forth an image illuminating that huge 80″ screen. Some people opt for the 100″ screen - the bigger the better!

You can skip the roll-down screen, the front projector, and buy a plasma at 102″! Now that’s an amazing size. Samsung is showing off their 102″ plasma screen at this year’s IFA 2005 show along with an 82″ LCD. The LCD has a resolution of 1920 x 1080, an 8000:1 contrast ratio, and includes an HDMI port. But who cares about the LCD when the plasma is at 102″!
