Time Warner on HD, HD DVD and BD

Til Death Do Us Part - Getting Past The 7 Year Digital Itch An interesting read from Davis Freeberg about some Time Warner musings. Here’s Davis’ summary: “The CEO of Time Warner, Richard Parsons, offered a less then enthusiatic glimpse at the future of the HDTV DVD market in an investor presentation on Tuesday. During the conference, he pointed out that Time Warner has committed to supporting both formats, but that he saw no end in sight when it came to the battle. Ultimately, he felt that the battle was a neccessary evil involved in upgrading and said that he didn’t see the consoles as playing a significant role in the development of the HDTV DVD industry.
