Quad HD and you
CMO to ship 47-inch Quad HD — 1440p — LCD in 2007 - Engadget HD So it looks like a company called Chi Mei Optoeletronic wants to redefine the standards on HD. They will be hocking a 56″ LCD with a resolution of 3840 X 2160 and a 47″ with a 2560 X 1440.
This is all well and good, but where is the content? This had better come with one heck of a hum dinger of a scaler to convert the 1080p to 2160p
