Are you the kind of guy that, upon unpacking that iPod/receiver/cellphone/etc, just gives the actual product a cursory glance, then dives for the manual? Then if you’re waiting to get one them new-fangle BD players, then this is your lucky day. Samsung has let loose the manual to their upcoming BD player, the BD-P1000, on the web, and it’s available for download.

Okay, okay, I confess. I’m not the kind of guy to open the manual first. I only refer to the manual if I’m having a problem, really. But I downloaded Samsung’s BD player manual anyway. It was just too tempting! I even gave it a cursory glance. Enough to see that 1080p isn’t a supported output resolution, though maybe I just have to read the manual in more detail later. Or maybe if any of you out there wish to do so, you can just tell me what you found.
