Blu-ray and VAIO this Summer

I have a VAIO computer, a desktop. I like it - it’s a good machine. I like the built-in memory card reader that it came with, too. And I like Blu-ray - I’m looking forward to some nice HD movies on my HDTV. Computers and BD are like chocolate and peanut butter - and Sony plans to combine the two this summer. At CeBIT Sony announced that some high end desktops and laptops would come with BD (Blu-ray Disc) drives by mid-year, which is cool.

I am little confused here, I thought you will need Windows Vista to support BD or HD DVD? Also, besides the 2 Sony MCE desktops that shipped with HDCP video cards, do they now all ship with that?

That’s confusing to me too. Maybe they only allow HD content out through an HDMI connection.
