					<description>The sets has to deinterlace any interlaced signal (such as 1080i). It might also have to scale the signal up to 1080p (if it started out as 720p, etc). So the set will always display in 1080p, no matter what the source material. This is generally how all digital displays (LCOS, SXRD, D-ILA, LCD, DLP, plasma) work.</description>
