Review: Sony KDS-R60XBR1
CNET has a review of the Sony KDS-R60XBR1 projector. The give it a final score of 8.8.
This is Sony’s 60″ set based on their lauded SXRD technology. It has a native resolution of 1920 x 1080 progressive, giving it the highest resolution the HD format allows. It has two HDMI inputs, and if I recall correctly, they don’t support 1080p signals. The biggest complaint you could level at this set’s picture quality is its black level. It’s not as good as CRT or the best DLP, but is still very respectable. It has a good grayscale, a good set of connections, and extensive picture adjustment controls.
All in all, a very good HDTV.
