Microdisplays Make It Big

cellWhat’s a microdisplay? It’s a very small display that can be used either to view an image directly, like the display on your cellphone, or to project an image onto a big screen, like the LCD, LCOS, and DLP panels inside rear- and front-projection HDTVs. But did you really know how many kinds of these things there are, and how many companies create them? Advanced Imaging Pro has a great article about microdisplays that’s a great read.
